Synopsis

In the future. A dismembered robot girl is saved by a Cyber-doctor. Alita, who knows who she is and what the outside world is like, is a skilled fighter who learns her past, the city she lives in, and her goals while protecting her family.

A popular Japanese anime series has been brought to life in a short film. Fans say that it is the best adaptation of the source material, which is rare among manga/anime adaptations.

Creator Yukito Kishiro himself has seen this film 5 times and calls it the “Greatest movie in the world.” I don’t know any anime/manga. So I’ll just say what I saw as a movie. Produced by Avatar creator James Cameron and directed by Robert Rodriguez, Alita: Battle Angel is a visual spectacle. Everything is clear. Even in Ready Player One, it was a bit dark. The mo-cap work is so masterful that it is impossible to distinguish between the real and the fake. Even in the scenes where they are being shot, they don’t end up in a frenzy. You can see the beauty and excitement clearly. The Motorball game scenes are completely crazy. The killing is really brutal. The unexpected things are done in a big way. The character designs are also crazy. The visuals are all perfect, but Alita is a little light on the script.

The story could be much smoother. Now there are some places where there is support for switching from one scene to another. It seems like there is too much happening from the beginning of the story. I saw that there was a lot of things that were lost in the middle because there was so much happening. I would have liked to have shown more character to the characters who are said to be cool. Now there is not much character arc, and some characters die without any reason. I don’t know where that old woman came from. Except for the lack of a little plot, Battle Angel is a car worth watching.

The beautiful and intense scenes will keep you hooked for the entire movie.
