The Convert

This is a great new film from director Lee Tamahori, who created the famous Nic Cage film Next. The actor is Guy Pearce from Memento and L.A. Confidential.

The genre of the story is historical action drama.
Summary….. Monroe, who was a bloodthirsty soldier and became a preacher after receiving a sermon, arrives in a new British territory in 1830. The Maori tribe that lives there is fighting and killing each other and is brutal to the point of cannibalism.

He plays a preacher who tries to make peace between these tribes. This film shows that you have to listen to the people who can’t be preached to. Watch it.
